* * *

Sienna didn’t know how long she’d been sleeping when something woke her. She was still in that deep part of sleep that didn’t want to let her escape. Her body felt heavy, and her mind was sluggish.

“Mmm,” she complained.

She burrowed closer to Jason’s warm body, pressing her face into his neck. She sighed and let the weight of fatigue start to pull her back under.

“Ooooooooh.” The groan was long and throaty.

It pulled her back to the surface like a bobber. She floated on the edge between sleep and wakefulness.

“Harder,” came a gruff demand.

One she recognized well.

Her eyes popped open. Oh, no.

She waited, hoping the intimate sounds would pass. Hoping against hope that nobody else would notice.

Too late.

As she came more fully awake, she realized Jason was already alert. His body was tense, and his breaths were measured.

“God, baby, yeah. Right like that.”

Sienna gritted her teeth at the intimate sounds coming through the wall. “Sorry,” she whispered.

“Who the hell is that?” From the roughness of his tone, Jason had been listening—or forced to listen—for a lot longer than she had.

“My roommate. A sublet.”

“They do this every night?”

“Not every.” Sienna winced when she heard the bedsprings in the next room creak. “More like every other.”

His head rolled on the pillow. “And you have to lie here and just listen?”

Thank God for the darkness, because she felt her face flame.

“Sienna?”

“No,” she said quickly. “I mean, I’ve tried talking to her.”

The excuse came too late. Her silence had given her away. She felt Jason’s hand slide up her back, into her hair.

His breath hit her lips. “What do you do?”

Her tired, embarrassed brain refused to come up with a lie.

He chuckled and rolled towards her. “I told you that you weren’t frigid.”

“Jason,” she gasped when his hands swept up the back of her legs.

That didn’t stop their progress. They swooped right under her baggy sleep shirt, over her bottom and up to the bra she’d intentionally left on. His mouth closed over hers in a hot kiss as he quickly dealt with the fastener.

She braced her hands against his chest. His hot, muscled chest. Her fingers curled inward, even as her brain raced in the opposite direction.

He had her T-shirt all the way up to her ribcage by the time he cupped her breast.

The scalding contact made Sienna arch in surprise. The feel of that rough strength against her femininity was so arousing, she nearly forgot what she was going to say.

It came back when he pinched her nipple for a long, excruciatingly sexy moment.

“Ahhh! Jason, you promised.”

“I promised that I’d be good.” She could hear his grin even if she couldn’t see it.

By then, he was already moving again. He rolled her onto her back, confusing her by tugging the T-shirt off at the same time. When her head hit the pillow, her bra was gone, too.

He captured both her breasts in his hands.

“Ooooh, that feels so good,” came a groan from next door.

“Does it?” Jason asked, his voice close to her ear.
